Lithuania’s LNG terminal in the western port of Klaipeda has on Thursday received a seventh LNG cargo from the United States in its history, informed LETA/BNS.

The Arctic Aurora arrived from the US LNG terminal in Freeport, Texas delivered approximately 138,000 cubic meters of LNG, the terminal's operator, Klaipedos Nafta (Klaipeda Oil), told.

The LNG carrier docked in Klaipeda on Thursday afternoon, according to the vessel tracking websites vesselfinder.com, myshiptracking.com and marinetraffic.com.

It’s the first US LNG cargo tin the new gas year that started in October.

Earlier this month, Klaipeda also welcomed two small LNG shipments (of up to 10,000 cubic meters) from Russia's Baltic Sea port of Vysotsk where Novatek has a production facility.
