Como-Pickton’s Buster picks up win for Louisiana Tech

RUSTON, La. (KLTV) - Former Como-Pickton Eagle Mattison Buster was the winning pitcher as Louisiana Tech defeated UTEP on Sunday in the second half of a doubleheader.
The freshman entered the game in the fifth inning and shut out UTEP for three innings. She gave up two hits and no walks while striking out two. Buster is now 2-4 on the season.
Louisiana Tech is in fifth place in Conference USA with a 10-8 record. They travel to Natchitoches, Louisiana, on Tuesday to play Northwestern State at 6 p.m.
